Vascular Lab Reporting

29 Report Templates

Use any of the 29 professionally designed templates to generate clear, concise, and complete vascular lab reports. Reports are automatically created in your Worklist by the ultrasound, PVR, or other DICOM device. There is also the option of manually creating reports simply by choosing from a dropdown list.

Import Measurements From Ultrasounds

Measurements made on ultrasounds during the image acquisition, are automatically imported into the report using DICOM Structured Reporting (SR). For ultrasounds without SR capability, measurements can be imported using the Surgidex proprietary Optical Symbol Recognition software. Linear measurements like AP and transverse or velocities like PSV or EDV, are inserted in the study template.

Patient Medical Information

Patient demographics, history, previous bypasses, and physician preferences are all stored for future reports. No need to repeat data input for each additional study.

Automated Flag of Abnormal Studies

Preliminary reports in the physicians worklist are automatically flagged for key terms entered by the technologist. Studies are highlighted, and customizable trigger words are shown for each study. Typical flags are “abnormal” or “occluded”.

Customizable Protocols

Your labs specific protocols for stenosis levels, plaque characteristics, and predefined findings, for each study type are all customizable.

Drawing Templates

Each study report template has a selection of user editable drawings that are embedded in the final report. The selection of drawings is customizable, and you can also upload your own drawings to insert into reports.

E-Signing

Upon completion of the study the technologist can e-sign the report, which will automatically add it to the interpreting physicians worklist. This allows the physician to review, edit and interpret the study to finalize and e-sign the report.
